Role Summary
The Practice Operations Manager provides leadership and oversight of NMAC’s patient-access and non-clinical operations. The role covers Front Desk operations, telephone services, patient scheduling and appointment administration, virtual administrative support, operational IT coordination, and provider accommodation support.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead patient-access and non-clinical operational functions across the practice.
• Manage Front Desk operations, telephone services, patient scheduling, and appointment administration.
• Support effective utilization of available clinical capacity through efficient scheduling and patient-access processes.
• Oversee virtual administrative teams and coordinate onsite and virtual workflows.
• Coordinate day-to-day operational IT requirements and vendor relationships.
• Manage provider accommodation logistics and operational support.
• Lead employee performance, development, workforce planning, and succession arrangements.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and service excellence.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs related to patient access, scheduling, workforce performance, and productivity.
• Support business performance through effective resource management, revenue protection, and operational optimization.
