About this role

Role Description:

This role exists to lead and grow the Fuse student ministry at a local NewSpring campus by developing a strong team of volunteers and leaders. It oversees all aspects of weekly gatherings, Fuse groups, outreach, and discipleship, while ensuring alignment with NewSpring's mission and values. Ultimately, it’s about creating a healthy, vibrant ministry that helps students have an everyday relationship with Jesus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Uphold NewSpring and Fuse Missions, Pillars and Standards (MPS).

• Help oversee the execution and growth of the Fuse ministry at campus, which aims to help students have an everyday relationship with Jesus alongside the Fuse Director.

• Work with the Fuse Director to constantly improve the systems and culture of Fuse.

• Work with the Fuse Director to ensure the Fuse team executes the vision of Fuse, shepherding the flock, and reaches your city.

• Recruit and fill student spots for Gauntlet Summer Camp and oversee the entire recruiting, interviewing, and training process for group leaders.

• Work with the Fuse Director on all outreach projects.

• Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities:

• Actively connect Fuse students to the bigger picture of the church by attending on Sundays, participating in Membership Class, serving on a team, and prayer gatherings, etc.

• Identify and develop volunteers who have the potential and gifting to lead in greater capacities at our campus

• Help us build and sustain a multiethnic and multi-socioeconomic student ministry through identifying, recruiting, and stewarding students and leaders.

• Additional projects and/or assignments as needed

Role Requirements:

• This role is full time 40 hours per week.

• A High School degree is required.

• This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:

• Sunday: 7:15am-1:30pm (or everyone has left the building)

• Monday: 9am-5pm

• Tuesday: 9am-5pm

• Wednesday: altered hours (come in later, stay until the entire building is empty after Fuse night)

• Thursday: 9am-5pm
