About the Role:
NeurAbilities Healthcare is looking for a Full Time Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resource team in Voorhees, NJ. In this role, you'll manage the daily operations that keep our HR function running smoothly, from HCM/HRIS administration and employee records to benefits administration and compliance. This role will be supporting employees across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The salary range is from $68k-$73k/year, combined with a hybrid schedule, strong benefits, 401(k), 14 days of PTO, and 1 Joy Day (floating holiday).
What You Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (or Associate's degree plus 2 years of HR experience)
• 4+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years handling employment disputes/investigations and 2+ years with workers' comp, benefits, OSHA, leave, ACA, and wage/hour compliance
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification required
• Experience with HRIS/HCM systems; UKG experience a plus
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
What You'll Do As A Human Resource Generalist:
HRIS/HCM Administration
• Manage HCM system tasks such as hiring, compensation, leaves, terminations, benefits, and employee surveys while ensuring accurate, compliant records
• Maintain employee data including job classification, pay rates, org structure, and status changes
• Support with HCM administration and implementation projects
Benefits Administration
• Serve as a resource for employees on benefits and ACA compliance questions
• Partner with our broker and vendors to administer medical, dental, disability, life, FSA, and COBRA benefits, including enrollment, invoicing, and reconciliation
• Review payroll deductions for accuracy and support 401(k) administration
• Manage PTO and leave of absence tracking, and troubleshoot issues within UKG and vendor portals
HR Service Delivery
• Advise managers on employee relations, workers' compensation, and disputes in line with employment law
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee complaints and investigations
• Help maintain compliance with employment laws and recommend policy improvements
• Support unemployment hearings and related documentation
Training
• Deliver training to employees and managers on HCM system processes and procedures
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
• Estimated 20% travel, dependent on need.
• Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
• This job operates in both a professional and home office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, photocopier, filing cabinet, and printer.
