Key Responsibilities

• Pedagogical Leadership: Design and execute inquiry-based, developmentally appropriate learning experiences anchored in ECE best practices.

• Developmental Assessment: Track and document individual developmental milestones (birth–5) to tailor learning approaches and support early intervention when needed.

• Classroom Management: Establish a structured, joyful, and emotionally supportive classroom environment compliant with state (DECAL) and Quality Rated standards.

• Family Engagement: Cultivate transparent, professional, and empathetic partnerships with families regarding child growth and daily achievements.

• Mentorship: Model high-quality instructional practices and collaborate with support staff to elevate teaching standards center-wide.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Credentials (Must meet at least ONE):

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in ECE.

• Experience: 2+ years of verified lead teaching experience in a licensed group care setting, accredited preschool, or high-quality early learning center.

• Compliance: Active GaPDS clearance (or ability to clear a comprehensive DECAL background check prior to start).

(Note: Active CPR and First Aid certifications are not required prior to hire; all required certifications are provided and covered by the employer.)
