Haverford Township is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Assistant Operations Supervisor to help oversee the daily operations of the Community Recreation & Environmental Center (CREC). This position plays a key role in creating exceptional experiences for residents, renters, guests, and community members while helping manage one of the Township's premier recreation facilities.

What You'll Do
• Coordinate and oversee facility rentals and special events from planning through completion.
• Supervise and schedule part-time rental and event staff.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and facility users during events.
• Monitor facility operations and building systems, including HVAC, lighting, security, and access controls.
• Coordinate maintenance needs and ensure the facility is clean, safe, and event-ready.
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Serve as Manager on Duty during evenings, weekends, and in the absence of the Facility Operations Manager.

Qualifications
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in facility operations, event management, hospitality, recreation, customer service, or a related field.
• Prior supervisory or lead-worker experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Schedule
Full-Time (40 Hours per Week)
Weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
