About this role
Job Requirements The Performance Coach is responsible for planning, coordination, and delivery of the Sports Medicine Institute Sports Performance program. He/she will establish working relationships with administration, marketing, physical therapy, athletic training, physicians, and other coaches as well as communicate effectively with clients to ensure timely follow up. He/she must create a professional, safe and fun environment for clients of all ages. He/she participates in community presentations, staff education, and other departmental activities as requested by the Sports Medicine Manager or Director of Rehabilitation Services. Minimum Requirements Education
• BS in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related health field Licenses/Registrations/ Certifications
• NSCA Certified Strength and Conditional Coach (CSCS), USAW Level l cert, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and/or NASM PES • CPR-AHA BLS Core Job Responsibilities
• Adheres to all Standards of Behavior. • Provides strength and conditioning programs to athletes and fitness enthusiasts. • Implements new training methods, programs, and protocols to help athletes reach maximum potential. • Develops and executes camps, clinics and off-site training. • Adjusts instruction and education to meet the needs of athletes of all ages and skill level. • Completes timely and accurate documentation and billing. • Adjusts work scheduled to meet the needs of customer/program. • Attends departmental and hospital committees and meetings. • Completes other duties as assigned.
