Payroll Administrator Hybrid | Growth OpportunitiesJob DescriptionThe Payroll Administrator plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely weekly payroll processing for a large, multi-state workforce. This position focuses on reviewing and reconciling project timecards, preparing weekly and off-cycle payroll, and serving as a primary liaison between the payroll team and project teams. The role offers significant exposure to a modern Oracle Cloud payroll environment, opportunities for professional growth within a large shared services organization, and the chance to contribute to high-profile construction and renewable energy projects.Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile project timecards prior to the weekly pay run to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Prepare and process weekly payroll, including accurate data entry of payroll information and generation of associated reports as needed. • Prepare and issue daily off-cycle checks, including retroactive pay, in accordance with established policies and timelines. • Research and resolve payroll inquiries from team members via phone and email, providing clear, timely, and professional responses. • Act as the payroll team member liaison for project teams, building strong working relationships and ensuring effective communication on payroll matters. • Complete unemployment earnings requests accurately and within required deadlines. • Set up new craft payroll team members in the payroll system, including salary and pay-related details, and process updates and terminations as needed. Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree combined with 5+ years of payroll experience. • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including weekly payroll cycles. • Strong multi-state payroll experience, with the ability to handle payroll for employees across numerous states. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data views, graphing, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions. • Experience working with large employee populations in a shared services or centralized payroll environment. • Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and meet strict payroll deadlines with high accuracy. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for resolving payroll inquiries via phone and email. • Proven ability to build effective relationships across project teams and diverse organizational levels. • High level of attention to detail, accountability, and ownership of assigned payroll responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working within a large payroll department, particularly in environments with specialized teams such as Workforce Management/Timekeeping, Payroll Tax, and Payroll Systems. • Experience in construction, large-scale projects, or industries with craft and field payroll is beneficial. • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud or similar enterprise payroll and timekeeping systems, especially in the context of system upgrades or implementations. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization supporting high-profile projects such as sports venues, data centers, and renewable energy initiatives. • Interest in professional development and internal mobility within a large, growing finance and payroll organization. • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused culture with regular cross-functional interaction. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.86/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
