As a Sourcing Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our teams have the products, services, and resources needed to deliver exceptional patient care. Using data-driven insights, supplier partnerships, and strategic sourcing practices, you'll identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Department: Supply Chain
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is hybrid. Candidates must reside within driving distance of our System Office in Des Peres, MO.

Job Summary: Responsible for contract analytics, catalog and pricing administration, project support and coordination, reviewing and summarizing analytical data, internal stakeholder support, and facilitating sourcing events across clinical and non-clinical initiatives. The Sourcing Coordinator will be expected to complete their responsibilities independently and/or in partnership with Senior Sourcing Analysts, Analyst Managers, and Analytics Directors while driving continuous improvement of our processes, policies, and operations.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assumes analytical responsibility for medical supplies, services and pharmaceutical spend totaling more than $400M across 500 contracts. Analytical responsibilities include data cleansing, savings analyses, report development and dashboard development to monitor compliance levels. • Analyzes large data sets and through in-depth analysis, provides key findings and recommendations that support the strategic direction of business operations to meet strategic and financial goals. • Analyzes clinical data to highlight variance in costs across the health system. Identifies standardization opportunities, waste or over utilization of clinical resources and other inefficiencies that impact expenses. • Creates analytics to support financial month end close processes inclusive of budget variance explanations and supply expense trends. • Supports tracking, processing, and reporting on supply chain rebates totaling more than $20M annually. • Collaborates and effectively communicates with a variety of stakeholders including supply chain associates and leaders, executive leadership, and clinical leaders. • Develops and maintains databases using Microsoft Excel and Power BI. • Provides support to planning and implementation of supply chain optimization projects through project management and analytics support. • Performs other duties as assigned.
