DescriptionLead analytical strategy for Phosphorodiamidate Morpholino Oligomer and conjugated oligonucleotide development programsDesign and oversee analytical method development, optimization, and qualification activitiesSupport characterization of drug substance, intermediates, impurities, and degradation productsProvide technical oversight of external analytical laboratories and CDMO partnersReview analytical protocols, reports, investigations, and development documentationSupport specification setting and lifecycle management activitiesContribute to regulatory filings and health authority responsesPartner with process development teams to support manufacturing scale-up and technology transferEvaluate analytical risks and recommend mitigation strategiesDrive technical decision making and provide subject matter expertise across CMC functionsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline8+ years industry experience within analytical developmentPrior experience supporting oligonucleotide therapeuticsExperience with PMO or related oligonucleotide modalitiesExperience supporting IND, CTA, BLA, or NDA submissionsExperience with drug substance conjugatesPrevious biotech or pharmaceutical leadership experienceExperience managing external CRO/CDMO analytical activitiesExperience LevelExpert Level Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Waltham, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
