What You Can Expect Oversee all functions relating to the maintenance of the facility and production equipment. Ensure all environmental health and safety policies are met.
How You'll Create Impact
• Manage the Facilities department to maintain, secure, repair, and improve facility and production equipment while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and corporate policies pertaining to environmental safety and hazardous waste. • Develop and implement process improvement ideas, providing feedback to management on cost and labor saving ideas. • Lead Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements, while promoting a safe and healthy workplace. • Conduct routine office quality and compliance audits, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective actions to maintain operational standards and workplace effectiveness. • Ensure that all manufacturing documentation for the Facilities and Machine Shop is clear, complete, and correct. • Maintain compliance with QSR and ISO regulations and record keeping requirements. • Coordinate and work with in-house departments and external vendors for facility maintenance and improvement projects. • Coordinate completion of facility work requests and capital equipment. • Supervise and/or schedule maintenance of the Machine Shop area to ensure that all equipment and facilities are kept clean and in working order. • Generate department expense budgets. • Track and report key departmental performance indicators, such as departmental budget compliance, and injury and safety violations. Prepare monthly reports for management on all departmental issues and accomplishments. • Store and dispose of all hazardous wastes and chemicals. Administer established personnel policies with respect to hourly employees. • Initiate and process personnel actions involving transfers, annual performance reviews, attendance and disciplinary actions. What Makes You Stand Out Must be familiar with the operations Environmental Risk Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Certification program.
Your Background
• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience required. • BS in business, operations management, or related technical discipline plus at least 6 to 8 years of experience in overseeing a facility in a manufacturing environment following Quality System Regulations highly preferred.
Travel Expectations Up to 5%
Expected Compensation Range $113,000 - $141,000 USD Annual
