We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Voluntary Community Governor to join our Local Governing Body. This is a rewarding opportunity to support and challenge school leaders, helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils and wider school community.
Community Governors play a vital role in bringing an external perspective to governance, helping to strengthen links between the school and the local community.
We are looking for individuals who:
Have an interest in education and improving outcomes for children
Can think strategically and ask constructive questions
Are willing to learn and undertake governor training
Can commit time to meetings and school engagement
Bring skills or experience from any sector (e.g. HR, finance, law, education, public services, community work, business)
No prior governance experience is required—full training and support will be provided.
