We are a diverse team of event professionals delivering high-quality events across DHL Group – in Germany and around the world. We plan, organize and execute internal events such as Top Executive meetings, summer & Christmas partys, Town Halls and external events, such as media and investor events (e.g. Annual General Meeting, Capital Markets Day) either in a physical, hybrid or virtual format. What we do • Develop and deliver creative, end-to-end event concepts – from the first idea to the final execution, either physical, hybrid or virtual • Turn key messages and content into engaging live experiences • Coordinate event technology, stage construction, production, catering and venue design, budgets and external service providers • Participant management • Ensure a consistent DHL Group brand experience across all event formats • Continuously improving our event processes, standards and ways of working

Your tasks • Help bring inspiring events to life by supporting the planning, preparation and successful delivery of engaging live, hybrid and digital events. • Contribute creatively and collaboratively to project plans, show flows, presentations, briefings, participant management and event documentation, gaining valuable hands-on experience across the full event lifecycle. • Help create seamless live experiences by supporting supplier coordination, researching venues, checking proposals, contributing to budget overviews and project organization. • Turn feedback and insights into improvements by analyzing participant feedback and keeping up to date with the latest trends, technologies and innovative approaches in event management.
Your profile • Minimum graduated from Bachelor before April 1st, 2027 studies Social Science, Media & Communications, Language & Cultural Science, Economy, Event Management / Live Communications, Tourism/Travel and hospitality management or comparable focus. • We would be delighted to welcome you to our team as an intern, ideally starting on March 1st or even earlier. We are currently preparing for a major event taking place in early April, which is an exciting project for our team. Since there is already a lot happening in the weeks leading to the event, we would really value having you on board from March 1st. This would also give you the opportunity to get to know the team, settle into your role, and become part of the project from an early stage. • First professional experience (up to 3 years) through an internship, working student role, university project or volunteering related to events, communication of project work. • Confident use of MS Office, esp. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams. Interest in AI-supported applications of advantage. • Fluent English skills; fluent (on a native level) German skills. • Very good teamwork and communication skills, structured and reliable way of working, initiative, willingness to learn, organizational skills, quality awarenesses, proactive mindset, resilience and ability to perform under pressure, creativity and innovative thinking, intercultural awareness, affinity to sustainability and AI-supported solutions.
