What's the Project? Our client is a well-established company in the luxury retail industry undergoing a significant technology transformation. Newfire is supporting the modernization of its engineering ecosystem, including business-critical enterprise systems, e-commerce operations, and integrations. The client currently operates several applications and integration workflows within a Microsoft-based environment running on Azure. Its enterprise ecosystem includes Microsoft Dynamics GP, as well as Odoo, which supports one of the company’s key sub-brands. This is not a greenfield project. You will help improve and maintain existing production systems, strengthen integrations, resolve technical debt, and support the continued evolution of the client’s enterprise platforms. Build, maintain, and improve backend services using C# and .NET. Develop and support REST APIs and integrations between enterprise systems, internal applications, and third-party platforms. Work extensively with SQL, stored procedures, and business-critical data workflows. Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, and production problems. Support the technical health of the client’s Microsoft Dynamics GP ecosystem and related applications. Learn the client’s Odoo environment and gradually contribute to its maintenance, integrations, and custom functionality. Improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of existing systems. Collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions. Document integrations, system behavior, and important technical decisions. Adapt across platforms as the client’s enterprise technology strategy continues to evolve. As a Senior team member, you will be expected to actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company.
