The team The Process Improvement (PI) team is a multidisciplinary function that collaborates across the business to eliminate repetitive operations and help everyone "work smarter." The role This is a brand-new, exciting opportunity we’ve never had before! As our very first Engineering Document Writer , you will have the unique opportunity to shape how we capture and share technical knowledge across our manufacturing operations. You will bridge the gap between engineering experts and shop-floor teams, turning complex technical methods into clear, engaging Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), visual work instructions, and process guides from the ground up. Help build and define standardised technical documentation across Lush manufacturing and the wider business Work directly alongside engineers and shop-floor operators to shadow processes and draft clear SOPs, Work Instructions, and machine setup guides Map manufacturing workflows, line layouts, and operational sequences using visual flowcharts Maintain and organise a central engineering document repository to ensure version control and accessibility alongside our quality team Work in collaboration with the quality team to Review, audit, and update existing documentation to ensure alignment with current operational practices Create visual quick-reference guides, training materials, and user sheets to support continuous improvement projects Ensure all documented procedures comply with the necessary Health & Safety, GMP and Environmental standards
