About this role
As an AI&T Engineering Intern , you will work across all of the engineering teams in the company to efficiently build and test a reliable and high-performance spacecraft. For this opportunity, you could be working on one of the following teams: Automation & Controls, Integration, Development Test, or Test Automation. *This internship is 12 weeks long from May/June through August/September 2027 Design and build fluid, mechanical and electrical test systems in support of liquid rocket propulsion and spacecraft systems testing Collaborate with wide ranging teams across the company, including Redondo Beach and Mojave. Perform test setup, hardware inspections, checkouts and troubleshooting as needed Conduct test operations geared toward rapidly developing hardware for spaceflight Write and maintain work instructions, test plans, and other critical documentation Work on methods for accelerating the rate that we can build and process vehicles Work on tooling and fixturing that supports assembly and transport Resolve technical issues with innovative and resourceful solutions
