About this role
As a Battery Engineering Intern, you will support the development of lithium-ion battery packs for use in Impulse’s current and next generation space vehicles. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with flight electromechanical devices. This role offers exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and the full spacecraft product development life cycle – from design to launch. *This internship is 12 weeks long from May/June through August/September 2027* Support electrical or structural finite element analysis of electromechanical hardware Develop battery test hardware Support qualification testing and pcb bring-up Support battery assembly Develop new CAD models Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams
