As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient functioning. You will lead a team of warehouse staff, implement the best practices, and optimize processes to meet company objectives and customer requirements. Essential Functions: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and meet customer service level agreements. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and maximize productivity. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and effective communication. Monitor inventory levels and control stock movements, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with inventory management protocols. Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and support to foster a culture of teamwork and accountability, as well as hire, perform disciplinary actions, and dismiss as appropriate. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Track and analyze key account metrics, such as client satisfaction, usage patterns, and revenue growth, to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to anticipate client needs and provide strategic guidance. Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Manage supplier performance.
