About this role
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, performs a variety of duties to include welding and fabrication according to the production schedule as well as the proper execution of tasks and general housekeeping/safety functions. • Meet and perform all TIG welder requirements. Weld as schedule dictates. • Operates various equipment to fabrication parts and sheet metal as needed • Assists in training new employees. • Monitors schedules and requests adjustments from supervisor as necessary. • Makes adjustments to equipment or process as necessary and within established procedures. • Makes job assignments as necessary and within established procedures. • Maintains “team” environment within area of responsibilities. • Assists in securing materials as required. • Maintains proper records and reports. • Communicates to Supervisors/Manager on any unusual conditions. • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems. • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. • Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor. • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. • Meets daily production schedule as assigned. • Actively participates in the production of product as needed. • Performs other duties as required or assigned. · Assists in training new employees.
