Davies North America is currently seeking an experienced General Liability adjuster to resolve claims through investigating losses and negotiating settlements for casualty claims. This is a desk position and requires knowledge of the standard general liability policy. Desirable candidates should have bodily injury adjuster experience, a valid driver's license, and must provide evidence of current adjuster licensure. Establish timely contact with all applicable parties to a claim (insureds, claimants, attorneys, etc.), gathers facts of the loss. Assess coverage, identifying and addressing potential coverage issues. Determines liability for third party claims Document information obtained regarding damages. Manage the assignment of claim damage for inspection. Handles and settles all bodily injury and litigated claims Review and accept/reject and make claim tenders Oversees the field assignment to assure timely inspection, documentation, estimate of the loss Maintain files notes and correspondence while performing multiple tasks associated with a fast-paced environment. Maintains claim diary for life of claim Adheres to all guidelines and claims expectations of client Any and all other duties as assigned
