Senior Reporting Accountant @ CFC

This is an exciting opportunity to join CFC’s growing Finance team and play a key role in delivering high-quality external reporting across the Group. Working within Corporate Finance, you’ll support the production of accurate and timely financial reporting, helping ensure CFC continues to meet its statutory, regulatory and audit requirements as the business grows. You’ll combine strong technical accounting knowledge with a practical, hands-on approach, working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business. As Senior External Reporting Accountant, you’ll take ownership of key areas of the Group’s external reporting cycle. You’ll prepare and review financial information, support the production of statutory accounts and work closely with external auditors to deliver a smooth and well-controlled year-end process. You’ll be responsible for: Supporting the preparation of Group and entity-level statutory financial statements Producing accurate reporting and supporting schedules in line with agreed deadlines Coordinating information and responding to queries from external auditors Ensuring reporting is compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements Preparing technical accounting papers and contributing to the resolution of complex accounting matters Maintaining clear documentation, reconciliations and audit trails Working with Finance teams across the Group to gather, review and challenge reporting information Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiency Supporting wider Finance projects and reporting requirements as the business continues to evolve
