About this role
The role involves teaching on our Level 3 Photography provision, supporting learners to develop advanced technical, creative and professional skills whilst preparing them for higher education and employment within the creative industries. The successful candidates will be experienced photographers and educators with strong industry knowledge and a passion for helping young people realise their creative potential. We are particularly interested in applicants who can demonstrate expertise across a broad range of photographic practices, including studio photography, location work, digital imaging, image manipulation, visual communication and portfolio development. For the 0.8 MGL Course Leader role , applicants must have experience of curriculum leadership, learner progress monitoring, course administration, assessment management and personal tutoring. We are looking for individuals who: Have substantial professional photography experience. Are confident teaching Level 3 learners. Can inspire creativity, experimentation and high achievement. Have excellent organisational and communication skills. Understand current photographic industry practices and technologies. Are committed to raising achievement and supporting learner progression. Can contribute positively to a dynamic and collaborative department.
