Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) | Shakespeare Walk-in Centre | Full-Time (40) & Part-Time

Are you an experienced ACP ready to practise at the top of your scope in a well-established urgent care service? Shakespeare Walk-in Centre is recruiting a confident, autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner to manage minor illness presentations, across all age groups, including paediatrics. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role within a supportive, clinically led environment.

Main duties of the job

You will assess, diagnose and treat patients presenting with minor illness across all age groups, including paediatrics, using your advanced clinical skills and independent prescribing expertise.

We offer a supportive clinical environment, NHS pension, CPD and development opportunities, with a salary of up to £72,000 FTE depending on experience. Full-time and part-time positions are available, working 12-hour shifts (08:0020:00).

Additional information:

Working Pattern: 12-hour shifts (08:00-20:00) on a 7-day rolling rota. The full-time equivalent is 40 hours per week; however, any hours offered must be in multiples of 12.

Person Specification

Knowledge and skills Essential

Confident, autonomous management of minor illness

Qualifications Essential

MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or Relevant ACP courses at Level 7 including recognised modules in Advanced Physical Assessment Skills, Minor IIlness, Disease Management, etc. Independent / Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) Current NMC registration with no restrictions

Experience Essential

Significant experience in urgent care and/or primary care
