We are excited to be recruiting a Volunteer and Service User Involvement Coordinator to join Inclusion Hampshire on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
This post offers the chance to shape and strengthen both our Service User Involvement offer and our volunteering pathway, supporting Volunteer Recovery Workers, Service User reps and peer-led activities.You will help ensure that people who use our service have meaningful opportunities to influence service development, participate in recovery-focused activities and share their lived experience in ways that strengthen our offer across the county. Alongside this, you will oversee a thriving volunteer programme, recruiting, training and supervising volunteers, apprentices and trainee recovery workers, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to support high-quality service delivery
We are seeking an individual with experience in the drug and alcohol field who are passionate about visible recovery, co-production and community-based support. This post is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a wide range of partners, building relationships and supporting people to grow in confidence through training, involvement and volunteering.

Main duties of the job
This is a full-time post (37.5 hours per week) working across Hampshire on a 12 month fixed term contract.The postholder will be active across all nine hubs and specialist teams in Hampshire, supporting volunteering activity and service user involvement work within local delivery teams.
A significant part of the role involves recruiting, inducting, training and supporting Volunteers , ensuring they are confident, safe and well prepared. You will also line-manage Apprentices and Trainee Recovery Workers and support their ongoing development.In parallel, you will champion service user involvement, supporting opportunities for people who use our service to participate, share feedback, shape services and contribute to peer-led recovery activity.
The postholder will actively promote Inclusion Hampshire to partners and external agencies, helping raise the profile of our service, our volunteering pathway and opportunities for people to get involved. Working together with the rest of the team you will strengthen the joined-up, inclusive and recovery-focused involvement offer across Hampshire.

Lead the coordination of both the Volunteering and Service User Involvement pathways across Hampshire, ensuring safe, highquality opportunities for involvement. Recruit, induct, train and supervise Volunteers, including Volunteer Recovery Workers, ensuring they are supported and confident in their roles. Provide line management, development support and supervision to Apprentices and Trainee Recovery Workers, including attendance, performance and appraisal processes. Promote involvement opportunities for people who use our service, helping embed coproduction, peerled activity and lived experience perspectives within hub and specialist teams across Hampshire Build strong working relationships with internal teams, contributing to a consistent, inclusive and recoveryfocused involvement offer. Develop and deliver training packages for volunteers, staff and partner agencies on substance use, lived experience involvement and Inclusion Hampshire service provision. Maintain effective relationships with external organisations and partners, promoting Inclusion Hampshire and increasing awareness of volunteering and involvement opportunities.
