About this role

Job summary

GMMH CAMHS is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed professional to train as a SFP practitioner. This 12-month full time training post combines training with clinical practice and weekly supervision on a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma course. You will be based at Bolton CAMHS 3 days a weeks and training for the other 2.

Main duties of the job

You will be based within the CAMHS services as well as attending the training course. You will be expected to complete both the clinical and academic aspects of the training course.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Core profession Professional registration HCPC, NMC, SW England

Experience Essential

Experience of Assessment and care planning skills, risk assessment and risk management for CYPs with mental health needs. Experience of working with young people

Desirable

Experience of working in Community CAMHS Therapeutic experience

Knowledge Essential

Interest in and awareness of chosen modality
