About this role

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA/Senior Administrator for the Senior Leadership Team within the Community Care Group comprising of Bolton and Wigan Services.

Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive, efficient and confidential administration support service to the Bolton Senior Leadership Team.

You will be well organised and experienced in administration. You will ensure all managers within your area of responsibility are organised and equipped to fulfil their responsibilities.

Appropriate electronic systems will be maintained along with co-ordinating diaries and minute taking

Provide a full range of PA and Secretarial duties to members of the Senior Leadership Team within the Community Care Group

Prepare, collate and circulate papers and reports for meetings and providing full service for these meetings including minutes taking

Person Specification

Education / Qualifications Essential

oOCR or RSA 111 Typing/Word processing certificate or equivalent. oGood standard of education / GCSE Maths and English

Desirable

oIT related qualification RSA/NVQ qualification

Experience Essential

oExperience of all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel, electronic diary management and use of patient recording systems oDemonstrable PA experience at Senior Management level. oDemonstrable proven line management experience. * Experience of arranging and administering multiple and complex meetings, including taking and transcribing minutes.

Desirable

oA patient administrative background. oExperience of working for more than one manager oExperience of diary management Experience of setting up systems for managing and monitoring information. oExperience of arranging events and conferences. oExperience of organisational change management. * Experience of setting up systems for managing and monitoring information. oExperience of arranging events and conferences. oExperience of organisational change management.
