Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Support Services Division, as we seek applications for a Professional Lead for our Radiology Centre.
The Clinical Support Services Division comprises of four centres: Pathology, Pharmacy, Radiology and Therapies.
We are seeking applicants who have proven experience working at a senior level and who have implemented and led changes in a supportive and collaborative style working in partnership with senior colleagues.
There will be a requirement to work at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford and the Community Diagnostics Centre, Telford.
Main duties of the job
The role is accountable to the Radiology Centre Manager and will support with developing and delivering the strategy for Radiology services which integrates into the overarching Clinical Support Services Divisional Strategy.
The post holder will provide professional leadership for professional staff across Inpatients and Outpatients ensuring staff are supported and empowered, facilitated to develop their knowledge and skills, and that they abide by their Professional Code of Conduct and Healthcare Professions Council regulations.
The post holder is responsible for providing professional leadership and for providing professional advice and recommendations to the Trust and key external agencies.

Education and Qualifications Essential
oMasters level education or equivalent professional qualification or experience oEvidence of professional management development
Desirable
oHCPC/GPhC registered or equivalent knowledge
Management Experience Essential
oSignificant experience of working at a senior management or professional level (equivalent to Postgraduate Diploma) in the acute sector oSignificant experience of managing teams oExperience of business strategy and planning oExperience of implementing service improvement including complex change management programmes oEvidence of effective management of a complex and diverse workforce oEvidence of successful management of significant budget
Skills Essential
oStrong leadership skills oUnderstanding of NHS business and financial regimes oAbility to design and develop complex information systems to enable effective decision-making within the Centre. oAbility to manage teams to deliver objectives and targets
