This is role is for 15 hours per week to be worked flexibly Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job You will be at the heart of our Quality and Education Team, providing comprehensive education while helping to shape and deliver impactful learning experiences for a range of professionals.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Promoting, and facilitating opportunities for staff to learn and developWorking with the Clinical Practice Educator to implement the hospice clinical education strategyEmbedding the hospices competencies and role modelling expert care throughout the clinical workforceSupporting staff to complete relevant clinical skills competenciesContributing to the delivery of a clinical education programmeEmbracing innovative and creative ways of delivering education effectivelyEngaging in the design and delivery of our education strategy Ensure all education is evidence basedEnsuring that you follow good infection control practice at all times and that you are familiar with infection control policies, procedures, and guidance relevant to your area of workUnderstanding your role in the safeguarding of adults and children by being able to identify risks, and recognise signs of harm, abuse or neglect including how to report concerns and take immediate action to protect a person at risk of harm or abuse
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Willing to work towards a post registration degree level qualification in end of life or palliative care Experience of working in a clinical environment as a registered nurse with knowledge and understanding of end of life care
Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC registration Post-registration degree level qualification (minimum level 6)
