Job Overview
The Short Term Care Beds Service provides short-term rehabilitation and recovery support for adults who no longer require acute hospital care but are not yet able to return home safely. Our multidisciplinary team works closely with patients to maximise independence, promote recovery, and support safe and timely discharge from our recovery hubs.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and motivated Band 3 Administrator to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service and contribute to delivering excellent patient care.

Main duties of the job The post holder will support the operational and clinical teams by providing comprehensive administrative assistance across the Short Term Care Beds Service.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to managers and multidisciplinary teams.
Managing referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharge-related administration.
Maintaining accurate patient records and electronic systems.
Handling telephone calls, emails, and enquiries from patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
Supporting meeting organisation, diary management, and minute taking.
Producing reports, spreadsheets, and service activity data.
Assisting with workforce administration, including rota support and recruitment processes.
Managing service inboxes and ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly.
Ensuring compliance with information governance and confidentiality requirements.
Supporting service improvement projects and general office administration.
