About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced, qualified dispenser to join the team at Bampton Pharmacy. This role would suit someone who enjoys community pharmacy, works carefully and calmly, and would like a reliable weekly working pattern.

Typical shifts: Weekdays 8.45am - 6.15pm and Saturdays 8.45am - 12.45pm; exact shifts agreed in advance.

Pay: depending on experience

Main duties of the job

What we're looking for

A recognised Level 2 dispensing/pharmacy services qualification, or accepted equivalentRecent UK community pharmacy dispensing experienceGood accuracy, organisation, communication and pharmacy IT skillsConfidence dealing with patients by telephone and at the counter, including routine payments and queriesA dependable, team-focused approach and willingness to work within SOPs and the limits of the roleTitan experience is helpful but not essential if you are confident learning a new system.

What you'll do

Process, label and assemble prescriptions accurately using Titan PMRSupport prescription collection, telephone and counter enquiries, routine patient and GP practice queries, owing items and deliveriesProcess prescription charges, declarations and other routine payments accuratelyHelp keep stock controlled, organised and rotated, including timely returns and expiry checksWork closely with the Responsible Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team to keep the dispensary safe and running smoothlyDeliver a warm, respectful service and refer clinical or safety concerns promptly.
