Job summary
We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and compassionate individual to join our Psychology Service as a Team Administrator and secretary. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred service by providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our clinical and management teams.
Main duties of the job
As the first point of contact for the Psychology Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring that service users, carers, relatives and professionals receive a professional, responsive and supportive service. You will be joining a dedicated team committed to delivering excellent psychological care and support across the service.

oKnowledge and experience of general IT systems including Microsoft Office (to include Outlook, Word and Excel), database management oEducated to GCSE level or equivalent knowledge and experience oSignificant experience of working at an administrative level in a relevant setting oUnderstand the importance of confidentiality and experienced in implementing processes to comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act oExperience of successfully working to support a variety of professionals in a busy and demanding environment oExperience of prioritising daily and ongoing tasks to meet both routine and non-routine deadlines

oAbility to plan and organise effectively oGood interpersonal skills at all levels oStrong written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with a range of individuals at all levels and across a range of organisations oAbility to identify confidential and sensitive issues oSelf- motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative and with minimal day to day support oAbility to travel as required to locations in Wales
Skills Desirable
oKnowledge of secretarial and administrative procedures and systems, including electronic patient records i.e. WPAS/Myrddin, WCCIS, RIO etc.
