Job summary
We are eager to recruit a permanent, six session, talented, enthusiastic and motivated GP who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop. Weekly working days will be Tuesday through to Friday depending. You will be working across two surgeries in Sedgley, Coseley, Gornal PCN.
Main duties of the job
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
providing high-quality clinical care to the practice population. working closely with clinicians to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary care. participating in MDT meetings, clinical discussions and quality improvement initiatives. supporting continuity of care and managing both acute and chronic presentations. contributing to proactive population health initiatives developed at local and PCN level. You don't need to participate in on-call work

Woodsetton has approximately 7,000 patients with 3 partners and allied staff. We just had a CQC inspection rating us as "Good"

We both have a multi-disciplinary team including a first contact physiotherapist, teams of nurses including, HCAs, and pharmacists.

The post holder is directly responsible to both the Practice Managers for all organisational and administrative issues and the Partners for all clinical issues.

Qualifications Essential
Fully qualified medical practitioner holding a MBBS or equivalent medical degree Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise Inclusion on the NHS Performers List (or eligibility to be included) MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners) or equivalent qualification Evidence of completion of GP Specialty Training (CCT) or equivalent experience Commitment to ongoing professional development, appraisal and revalidation
Desirable
Experience in teaching or supervision of trainees
