Position Description: Texas Tech Physicians of Lubbock, Neurology Clinic Faculty, are a diverse group of specialists ensuring comprehensive care for patients with various neurological diseases. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment and testing facilities including our Neurodiagnostic Lab where we perform a variety of diagnostic procedures to assess disorders and conditions such as seizure disorders, brainstem dysfunctions and nerve entrapments. We provide care in our outpatient clinic, inclusive of resident clinics, and our inpatient facilities.

Rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Major/Essential Functions: • Review medical histories and perform neurological exams. • Order and interpret tests including MRI, CT, EEGs and/or EMGs. • Develop treatment plans including medication, implanted devices and injections. • Provide patient care in the outpatient clinic, resident clinic and inpatient facilities. • Participate in call coverage up to 1 week/month, call is split evenly and residents take first call. • Develop monthly lectures as part of the training and mentoring of medical students and residents.

Required Qualifications: • MD/DO or equivalent medical degree. • Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Neurology residency or fellowship. • ABMS board eligible, or in the process of training to become board eligible. • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license.

Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
