Combined Act Shift Mgr (Ret)

Job Description: Assists in planning, managing and directing retail store operations dealing with merchandising, selling, stocking, promoting and reordering of goods. Assists in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory. Maintains compliance, as applicable, in loss prevention, accounting, money transfers, internal controls, environmental issues and EPA/environmental Agencies/Organizations policies, procedures, rules and regulations.

Job Qualifications: 1 year of retail, food and/or services management/supervisory experience is required. The hiring supervisor may accept successful completion of one of the following training programs as a substitute for one year of experience: Retail/food: National Brand Fast Food (NBFF) training, the Exchange Restaurant Operations Management Academy (ROMA), Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT),or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs. Retail/services: Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs.Must complete ServSafe (5460) within 30 days of assuming position (retail/food only).Fuel management compliance completion with 3 months of assuming position (at facilities with gas). Or Must successfully complete one of the following: National Brand Fast Food (NBFF), Exchange Restaurant Operations Management Academy (ROMA), Exchange Retail Management Training (RMT) or Retail Management Academy (RMA) training programs. Must complete ServSafe (5640) within 30 days of assuming position. Fuel management compliance completion within 3 months of assuming position (at facilities with gas).

Major Duties: Resolves day-to-day issues that arise during shift. Ensures customer service is maintained at a high level, identifying ways to enhance customer satisfaction. Supervises, trains, develops, and schedules associates for current positions and future growth. Assists with the coordination of sales promotion activities. Performs other duties as assigned.
