Job Description: Supervises employees who schedule, assign, and maintain fleet equipment. Supervises the preparation or required documentation for proper dispatch and accountability of outbound and inbound Exchange fleet assets and commercial carriers.
Job Qualifications: Two years of supply chain or logistics experience.
Degree (one of):
• BACHELORS DEGREE - Preferred Major/Minor (one of):
• GEN BUSINESS - Preferred
Additional Qualifications/Requirements: PCS/LSP not authorized.
Technical (Preferred/Required Skills/Systems): • MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS - Required
Major Duties: Supervises employees who schedule, assign, and maintain fleet equipment. Prepares and maintains the master dispatch schedule for all motor vehicle operations. Controls yard checks and inbound paperwork for warehouse operations. Works with software applications and identifies problem dispatches and resolves issues. Works close to the DC terminal manager for cost effective dispatches. Performs other duties as assigned.
