Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a motivated applicant with strong organizational, people, and interpersonal skills to lead a production team. Responsibilities will include: • Supervising an integrated team of contractors and sub-contractors while maintaining high levels of morale, efficiency, and quality in the workplace • Interfacing with and maintain positive working relationships with on and offsite Government customers • Ensuring project requirement and throughput are met with predetermined delivery dates and production durations • Managing equipment calibration, procurements, and inventory • Preparing for external Government DCMA audits • Managing parts obsolescence • Reviewing defect reports from all aspects of the production process • Identifying deviations in these areas and suggesting/implementing corrective actions/improvements • Analyzing current and new drawings for errors, typos, and/or revisions • Acting as a liaison for projects required metalwork, outsourced work and vendors • Reporting on project status

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Skills and Education: • High school diploma and at least 11 years of related experience OR Associate degree and at least 7 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of related experience • Two years of experience within the DoD or military • Experience leading and tasking a team • Experience managing project resources including personnel, budget, and materials • Experience using computers, Windows OS, MS Word, MS Excel, and SharePoint databases • Ability to read and follow processes, engineering drawings, change orders, and work instructions

Preferred Skills and Education: Knowledge of: • AN/UPX-24(V) or AN/UPX-24A Interrogator Set • ISO 9001:2015, Lean Six Sigma, and/or production best practices • Procurement management • Inventory audits including government DCMA audits • Equipment calibration
