We are seeking a Bilingual Craft Professional Communications Specialist to write, develop, execute, and report on communication and recruitment marketing initiatives in Spanish and English that support hiring, engagement, and retention of craft professionals across Bechtel projects. This role ensures communications are culturally relevant, accessible, and effective for diverse craft populations while supporting hiring goals across multiple projects and regions.
Major Responsibilities: Recruitment Marketing & Social Media
Researches, conducts interviews, writes, edits, and maintains content for a variety of external Bechtel publications, and websites Coordinates photography, when necessary, to support articles Researches, writes, edits, and maintains content for the communications function, including face-to-face engagement, electronic news, intranet management, and change management activities Coordinates issue management, corporate and public affairs, communications, and/or community affairs programs for a project or corporate group Supports the organization’s events planning and management activities Supports the implementation and maintains policies, procedures, and processes that ensure the business unit, project, or program’s communication needs are met in a consistent, efficient, and flexible manner Adheres to Bechtel personnel policies, management instructions, and other relevant company policies and procedures Monitors job progress and alerts supervisor when schedules appear to be in jeopardy or deadlines may not be met Collects data and metrics on a variety of communications activities and outcomes and creates reports based on those metrics Assists in planning and implementing all-employee meetings, community outreach programs, and other events, including presentations and logistics
Reporting & Analytics
Track, analyze, and report on social media and recruitment marketing performance. Prepare weekly, monthly, and project-specific reports on campaign effectiveness, audience growth, engagement, applicant activity, and recruitment outcomes. Use data and audience insights to optimize campaign performance and improve recruitment outcomes.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field and 2-5 years of experience in communications, recruitment marketing, workforce engagement, or a related function. Minimum 6-9 years of relevant work experience required in lieu of a degree. Required Knowledge and Skills: Professional fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required. Experience managing social media and digital campaigns, including content planning, reporting, and stakeholder approvals. Strong written and editing skills in English and Spanish, with demonstrated experience in project management and stakeholder engagement. Strong proficiency with Meta Business suite and standard communications tools, including social copywriting and content creation. Strong attention to detail. Experience working with large-scale construction, industrial, energy, mining, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred. Collaborative mindset with the ability to advise and influence when needed.
