Visually inspect trailers. Process load paperwork. Operate Yard Truck as necessary. Unload returns and outside processed material. All other duties as directed by the department cell leader or manager.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: What will make you successful? Required Education/Experience:
Steady work history. The willingness to work any shift. Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy). Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to exert enough force to tighten straps on loads. Extended periods of sitting on forklift required. Periods of walking and standing on concrete for extended periods of time and maneuvering in and out of bundles in staging area required. Exposure to extremes of heat in summer months and cold in winter months as well as wind and rain when dropping and loading trailers. Must be available to work weekends on a rotating continental schedule.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Previous Shipping experience a plus. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior Forklift Operator experience a plus. Previous experience driving large commercial Truck preferred (Yard Dog). Previous experience working with computer programs (AS400 and Excel) preferred. Team player; ability to work as a team; Self-starter; Adaptable to change. Ability to prioritize needs. Ability to communicate effectively, with fluency in English; Good verbal communications skills a plus. Minimum of 2 Years Manufacturing Experience.
