Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is onsite at our Washington, PA facility. Relocation is not provided.
Washington, PA is the home of the Eaton Crouse-Hinds commercial outlet box facility which manufactures steel boxes, covers, and prefabricated electrical assemblies. Manufacturing 1.3 million units per week, this highly automated and fast paced environment places a high value on talented professionals that are focus on problem solving and efficiency.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all production equipment and facility systems at the site. This position provides leadership to maintenance technicians, drives preventive and predictive maintenance programs, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and partners with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain teams to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and overall plant performance.
In this role you will:
Directly supervise maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities Establish priorities and assign work to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability Apply cost containment principals when purchasing goods and services. Interface with other departments and contractors to ensure day-to-day project completion Support site safety initiatives and serve as a champion of site safety programs Ensure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and machine guarding requirements Support, assist and participate in Kaizen events focused on improving safety, equipment reliability, throughput, quality, and labor efficiency. Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to reduce unplanned downtime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Utilize Lean Manufacturing, TPM and Root Cause Analysis methodologies to reduce downtime and waste Coordinate equipment installations, modifications and facility improvements Perform other related functions as required to achieve department and site objectives
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Qualifications: Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment. Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM, and/or RCM principles. Experience with PLC programing, control panel/electrical and power press knowledge. Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects. Experience with VFDs. Experience with rotary equipment and stamp and die machinery. Experience leading Root Cause Analysis Investigations. Experience with 3 Phase Control Systems.
