About the Role

Uber for Business is seeking a strategic, commercially-minded, and driven Sales Leader to lead our sales teams across Canada. Our team plays a critical role in expanding Uber's footprint in the B2B space, partnering with the largest Enterprise, Mid-Market, and rapidly-growing companies across the region. We drive adoption of Uber for Business products such as ride services and meal solutions, operating as a key partner for businesses looking to streamline operations and enhance employee satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has experience in leadership roles in technology sales, has been a first or second line sales leader, and is an empathetic, data-driven, self-starter with experience in both mature and start-up environments. We are seeking innovative sales leaders who are passionate about building high-performing sales organizations.

What You'll Do

Sales Leadership & Team Management (80%) Directly lead, coach, and mentor sales professionals across New Business and Growth Business, as well as manage the onboarding and development of new hire reps.Set performance expectations, drive pipeline generation, and execute strategies to consistently hit and exceed regional revenue targets.Lead complex B2B sales negotiations and foster relationships with key strategic decision-makers.Track and report sales activities, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy using CRM analytics. Regional General Management & Strategy (20%) Mega-Region Ownership: Own all of Uber for Business in Canada, driving macro-level growth and platform adoption across both Trips and Meals verticals.Cross-Functional & Mobility Alignment: Partner closely with the Head of Mobility and cross-functional leadership to align go-to-market strategies and maximize platform synergies across corporate mobility and meal delivery.Executive Presence & Business Reviews: Lead weekly strategy calls and prepare/present Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) to senior executive stakeholders.Strategic Acumen & Reporting: Utilize data-driven insights to monitor territory health, identify operational bottlenecks, evaluate market trends, and drive cross-functional initiatives across the region. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years in a sales leadership role with 10+ total years of B2B sales/commercial experience.Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams (SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise/Growth reps).General Management acumen with experience driving business strategy, market expansion, and multi-product territory growth.Strong cross-functional leadership experience collaborating with operations, product, marketing, finance, and regional Mobility leadership.Excellent executive presentation and reporting skills, with a track record of leading MBRs and strategic alignment calls.Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce) and data analytics tools. Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of the Canadian B2B landscape, corporate travel, and food delivery markets.Demonstrated ability to craft data-driven GTM strategies that align sales execution with regional macro objectives.Strong C-level negotiation and relationship-building capabilities. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office. For certain roles, such as those based at green-light hubs, employees are expected to be in-office for 100% of their time.
