Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end integration of APM Edwards Fixed Asset activities into BD's global Fixed Asset processesPerform and support ongoing BD Fixed Asset accounting activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and analysis across assigned entitiesDocument and map APM Fixed Asset and ONCA processes, and assess alignment with BD Fixed Asset policies, controls, and standard operating proceduresPartner with IT and project teams to support APM-related Fixed Asset system activities, including integration testing, UAT execution, and defect resolutionDevelop and maintain job aids, SOPs, and process documentation to support both integration activities and steady-state Fixed Asset operationsSupport transition of APM Fixed Asset activities into regional RTR teams, including handoff planning, stabilization, and post-transition supportCollaborate with Global Fixed Assets, regional teams, and key stakeholders to identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities across APM and BD Fixed Asset processesSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to Fixed Asset processes, documentation, and controls Qualifications and Skills
Foundational knowledge of Fixed Asset accounting processes, including asset lifecycle management, capitalization, depreciation, and retirementsExperience with process mapping, documentation, and SOP development in a finance or accounting environmentExposure to system or integration testing, including UAT support and coordination with IT teamsWorking knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or JDE; experience supporting system integrations preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to understand, document, and compare current-state and future-state processesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a project-based environmentEffective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global, cross-functional teamsWillingness to learn, adapt, and support change during integration and transformation activities Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field2-4 years of experience in Fixed Asset accounting, RTR, or a related finance role preferredProfessional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) a plus but not required Why Join Us?
