Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Neurologist to serve as Medical Director of Neurology at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.

This is an opportunity to maintain a 100% outpatient clinical practice while providing physician leadership and helping shape the continued growth of an established Neurology program.

Opportunity Highlights

• Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule • Established team of 6 general neurologists and 3 neurohospitalists • Leadership stipend • Comprehensive Stroke Center • Opportunity to help advance the development of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary Neurology program • Lead quality initiatives and efforts to improve access to Neurology care • Collaborate with the Chair of Neurology, hospital CEO and service line leadership on clinical operations, quality and strategic initiatives • Support physician engagement, team development and program growth • Participate in hospital and departmental leadership meetings • Opportunities for EEG, EMG, Botox and lumbar puncture based on training and credentialing • On-site infusion capabilities and access to comprehensive neurodiagnostic and imaging services • EPIC electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Neurology residency • Board Certified or Board Eligible • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.
