JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

The Enterprise Project Manager 1 (EPM1) Auditor / Administrator provides a comprehensive and diverse range of risk management expertise for services and processes associated with the bank’s management of projects. This role is primarily responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring controls and processes to ensure adherence to internal and external governance/audit standards based on Hancock Whitney project management methodology. Additionally, this position investigates, creates, gains approval of, and implements risk mitigation strategies and policies related to the banks EPO. The PCOAA will practically apply strategies in partnership with EPO Leadership to support the EPO with audits, templates, tools, process improvements, etc. so the EPO can maintain acceptable service levels and compliance. At times it may lead small-scale department projects through planning, execution, and implementation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Audit: Review project sites for evidence of documentation and approvals to match the Process Guide required activities, before Tollgates and at Project Closure; • Processes and Methodologies: Responsible for the provision and maintenance of project management and related processes within the ownership of the EPO. Facilitates process Guide and project template updates as well as quality assurance around changes being proposed. Ensures consistency among all templates and processes and provides clear and concise communication of all changes to the end user; • Project Controls: Notify the Project Change Acknowledgement Group of all project changes related to scope, timeline and internal resource demands; • Reporting: Compile and distribute enterprise weekly status reports and ensure project data is documented appropriately; • Tax Reporting: Assist in gathering documentation for the Tax Department around Tax Incentives for the Company; • Project Management tools administration: Tier one support for EPO tools. Includes troubleshooting and solving errors and issues as well as answering questions regarding the usage of the tools. Review new tool requirements, develop and implement them; manage updates (new hires, organizational changes, new data), train new hires, business line project managers, resource managers and resources. Prepare and distribute training material and job aids related to the usage of the tool and any new feature, enhancement or process implemented; • Records Retention: Coordinate annual records retention review for EPO management and get decisions on documents eligible to be discarded; • Business Unit Continuity Coordinator: Ensure all Enterprise Project Office Services are in compliance with Business Continuity department requirements; • Run weekly and quarterly reports; • Ensure the team is informed of any changes in the Project Management processes • Lead small-sized department projects from planning to close. • Facilitate meetings, communications, and documentation. • Provide executive-level status reporting on scope, progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans. • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with business operations, technology, legal, compliance, finance, risk, marketing, training, communications, vendors, and other support partners. • Apply appropriate change management practices and support successful adoption of project deliverables. • Perform other related duties as assigned. • Learn Hancock Whitney’s organizational structure, project management methodology and processes.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 2+ years of project management or related experience. • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience coordinating with vendors and managing vendor deliverables. • Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 10 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
