Greystone is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to support the Compliance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, risk monitoring, and internal controls within a leading commercial real estate finance company. The Compliance Intern will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and other team members to help support compliance monitoring activities, conduct research, and contribute to projects that promote adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the review of adverse media screenings, prohibited relationship checks, and other ongoing compliance monitoring processes.

• Help prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to compliance testing and monitoring activities.

• Participate in projects focused on maintaining and enhancing Greystone's compliance framework and internal controls.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.

• Collaborate with team members and business partners on various compliance initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Rising Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Legal Studies, Risk Management, or a related field.

• Strong interest in compliance, risk management, auditing, or financial services.

• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

• Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and valuing diverse perspectives.

• Interest or coursework related to financial regulations, commercial real estate, banking, or auditing is a plus.

Interns based in NYC for Summer 2027 will be paid at $29/per hour.
