About this role
Ready to join a global leader in air movement and ventilation? At Greenheck Group, joining our team means more than just starting a job, it’s joining an award-winning culture prioritizing your growth and development. Our unwavering commitment in supporting our team members both personally and professionally has earned us national recognition time and time again. As an innovative, environmentally responsible manufacturer of commercial HVAC systems, Greenheck Group designs and manufactures industry-leading air movement and ventilation solutions through our family of trusted brands. Our products are found in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities worldwide, from schools and hospitals to factories and stadiums. Since 1947, we’ve proudly invested in our people and our communities, fostering innovation, leadership, and opportunity at every level. We are more than products, we are a team of inspired people doing extraordinary things.
As the BIM Specialist III, you will own the technical architecture of BIM content across Greenheck's product portfolio, including the underlying transformation code that generates customer-facing Revit and CAD content. You serve as the senior technical resource on the BIM team — handling the most complex parametric content development, resolving the most difficult content-related escalations, and maintaining the code base that produces content. You will be the primary technical partner to Business Units on content questions and drives standards for how the team produces and maintains customer-facing content. You will contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that scale the team's throughput.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Develop advanced parametric Revit content for Greenheck's most complex HVAC products, including one-off customer requests that require innovative approaches
• Own the development, maintenance, and debugging of the transformation code that generates customer-facing content
• Apply strong troubleshooting and logic skills to diagnose and resolve issues in transformation code, content behavior, and cross-platform integration — including reading through existing code to understand root cause and implementing targeted fixes
• Serve as the primary technical contact between the BIM team and Business Units on content-related matters — coordinate on product data, resolve design ambiguities, drive corrective action on content defects, and bring information back to keep the team aligned with BU changes
• Own the most complex escalations from the customer request pipeline — advanced troubleshooting, unusual configurations, field-reported issues, and cross-platform behavior questions
• Establish and evolve BIM content creation standards; document architectural decisions and maintain the team's technical reference material
• Test content changes ahead of each release; communicate design and data problems to appropriate BU personnel for corrective action
• Lead process review and improvement initiatives that increase team throughput and content quality
• Provide technical guidance and act as the escalation point for Level I and II BIM Specialists on complex issues
• Utilize AI-assisted tooling for workflow automation or scripting for process improvement.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
• 4-6 years of relevant work experience required
• Advanced knowledge of and experience with Revit family creation, parametric content, and shared parameters required
• Working knowledge of CAD systems (AutoCAD and/or Inventor) required
• Comfort reading, modifying, and debugging existing code required — able to trace through logic, understand what a piece of code does, and make targeted changes without breaking surrounding behavior.
• Familiarity with transformation and templating languages (or clear evidence of ability to learn them quickly) required.
• Strong pattern recognition and attention to detail
• HVAC product familiarity strongly preferred
• Experience with configuration-driven content systems — where product data drives automated content generation, rather than each drawing being authored individually — strongly preferred
• Curiosity about automation and process improvement; willingness to identify and champion opportunities
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent years of job experience required
