The Logistics Supervisor will lead an area focused on the planning and execution of Receiving, Warehousing and Material Distribution operations for Raytheon Missile and Defense working onsite at the Tucson Airport Facility. Tasks to be performed will entail providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. They will be required to manage all material distribution activities for the site and implement improvement opportunities, drive solutions, along with the ability to resolve conflict within a matrix organization. The candidate must think independently, communicate effectively, and provide leadership while working closely with other disciplines.
What You Will Do
• Coordinate with workforce planning, track employee training, certify timecard and attendance management, create area layout and flow management. • Provide a safe work environment and actively lead and engage in safety improvements discussions. • Assign daily activities, conduct stand-up meetings, set priorities and review reports/metrics to locate problem areas and create solutions. • Assist with accountability of material from receipt to throughout processing period in a timely manner and assist with lost/frustrated material. • Coordinate overtime when required, and log/track hours in OTIS. • Clear understanding of hazardous materials classifications, specifically Class 1. • Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare RCAS analysis for logistics review boards. • Order supplies as required. • Execute cycle count and other inventory accuracy requirements to ensure 100% accountability. • Obtain Certified Supply Chain Certificate within 1yr of employment.
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience. • Demonstrated people management/leadership skills. • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

• Experience engaging large, complicated Teams. • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down and/or across organizational lines. • Previous material accountability experience across multiple projects and conflicting priorities. • Proven understanding of metrics methods; development/execution of root cause and corrective action plans. • Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. • Previous experience working in a cross-functional and/or bargaining unit environment. • Experience working with hazardous materials Class 1 compatibility rules. • Understanding regulations including CFR, DFAR, FAR, ITAR, DoD and DSS.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
