• Submits offer price and volume to WESM; Monitors WESM outcomes

• Declares bilateral contract volumes of FGen to WESM to ensure maximum revenues and minimal costs;

• Analyzes the power grid situation critical in ensuring that FGen bid submissions are sound, with the end goal of maximizing revenues;

• Analyzes the existing plants operating in the system to determine the adequacy of supply in the system and to monitor competing generation facilities;

• Analyze the behavior of loads to determine First Gen Corporation's supply strategy;

• Perform Day-Ahead Forecasts and ensure optimal dispatch of the trading portfolio

• Compiles power industry databases from various sources.

• Prepares regular reports on the industry development, particularly on the WESM.

Minimum Qualifications

• The power trading analyst is responsible for specific analysis concerning prices (e.g., competition, relative positioning, profitability) for an offer, a customer segment, and/or an area. Analyzes special price requests as necessary.

• Bachelor of Science degree in any of the following courses: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial (Management) Engineering, Economics.

• Preferably with work one (1) year of work experience in Wholesale Electricity Spot Market Operations
