The Business Intelligence & Metrics Analyst is responsible for developing, governing, and operationalizing enterprise metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), dashboards, and executive reporting across Risk, Security, IT, Compliance, and Shared Services functions. This role transforms disparate operational data into meaningful business intelligence that enables leadership to make informed, risk-based, and strategic decisions. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, project management functions, and executive leadership by identifying performance trends, measuring strategic outcomes, and creating scalable reporting solutions that improve operational effectiveness and organizational visibility.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and KPI frameworks.

• Create meaningful visualizations that communicate organizational performance and business trends.

• Establish reporting standards, definitions, and governance for metrics across departments.

• Produce recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for executive leadership.

• Convert complex operational data into concise, actionable business insights.

KPI & OKR Program Management

• Partner with departmental leaders to define, document, and measure KPIs and OKRs.

• Aggregate information from multiple enterprise systems including Jira, Power BI, security platforms, compliance systems, ticketing platforms, and operational repositories.

• Analyze business performance, project execution, risk exposure, operational effectiveness, and service delivery trends.

• Identify leading indicators that support proactive decision-making.

• Develop recommendations based on quantitative analysis and business priorities.

• Drive consistency in metric collection and reporting methodologies.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Prepare executive-ready reports and visual summaries for business reviews and strategic planning sessions.

• Identify operational bottlenecks, reporting gaps, and improvement opportunities.

• Facilitate informed discussions around priorities, risk, performance, and investment decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Project Management, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in business analytics, project management, operational reporting, business intelligence, or related disciplines.

• Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar analytics platforms.

• Strong understanding of KPI development, performance management, and executive reporting.

• Experience working with enterprise systems such as Jira, Service Management, risk management, or security platforms.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency with common project delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Risk, Security, IT, Compliance, or Shared Services organizations.

• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Jira Reporting, DAX, data visualization, and automation technologies.

• Project Management certification or equivalent experience.

• Experience establishing enterprise reporting frameworks or governance programs.

This position requires proficiency in English to interact, support and/or provide services to non-French speaking customers, employees and/or partners inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.
