The role designed for you: Reporting to the Head of Accounting & FP&A, you will lead the finance function for France, supporting both Fedrigoni France, our commercial entity, and Zuber, our manufacturing business. Acting as a trusted partner to the local General Manager and leadership team, you will combine strong financial stewardship with strategic business support, helping drive business performance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. You will lead a local finance team while ensuring robust financial governance, compliance, and alignment with Group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the finance leader for the French operations, ensuring sound financial management and supporting the achievement of business objectives. • Partner closely with the local General Manager and business leaders to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes for the French entities, with particular emphasis on CAPEX and OPEX planning, ensuring alignment with business priorities and Group financial targets. • Lead CAPEX planning and governance, including the financial evaluation of investment proposals, business case development, prioritization, approval tracking, expenditure monitoring, and post-investment performance reviews. • Drive OPEX discipline through robust cost-center planning, regular variance analysis, identification of cost-efficiency opportunities, and clear, actionable recommendations to business leaders. • Provide forward-looking analysis of financial and operational performance, highlighting risks and opportunities and defining appropriate corrective actions with the relevant stakeholders. • Lead all accounting, financial reporting, and closing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely month-end and year-end reporting. • Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordinate relationships with external auditors to ensure successful audit outcomes. • Coordinate reporting processes and ensure the accurate and timely reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions. • Ensure compliance with local legal, tax, corporate governance, and statutory requirements while maintaining effective relationships with external advisors, banks, auditors, and public authorities. • Oversee credit management activities and drive initiatives to optimize working capital and cash flow performance. • Support corporate transactions and legal entity management matters, including capital operations, governance activities, company by-laws, and other statutory obligations. • Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, data quality, internal controls, and finance processes across the organization. • Act as the primary interface between the French entities and Group Finance functions, ensuring alignment with Group policies, procedures, and reporting standards. • Support business transformation, integration, and process harmonization projects, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Finance function within the Group.

The attitudes and skills we're looking for: Required qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting roles, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments. • Solid experience managing financial closings, statutory reporting, and external audit processes. • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and intercompany processes. • Strong FP&A capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and hands-on management of CAPEX and OPEX in a complex business environment. • Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders and supporting operational and strategic decision-making. • Experience in corporate governance, compliance, and legal entity management activities. • Experience overseeing credit management and working capital performance. • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Fluent French and English are required. • Availability to travel regularly within France and occasionally internationally.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous experience leading, developing, and coaching finance professionals. • Knowledge of Italian. • Experience working within international and matrix organizations. • Experience supporting finance transformation or ERP implementation projects. • Knowledge of SAP and advanced Microsoft Office skills.

What you can expect from our selection process: You will meet with members of our Talent Acquisition team, the Head of Accounting & FP&A, and the CFO to explore your experience, leadership approach, and how you can contribute to Fedrigoni's continued growth and transformation.
