Salary - Scale F, £15.06 - £16.07 per hour Permanent Part Time Post 1 – 31.25 hours per week (Mon-Fri) Post 2 – 12.5 hours per week (Thu&Fri) Term Time plus 1 week Required ASAP
We wish to appoint 2 outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistants and a Classroom Assistant (see separate advert) to be part of our SHIP provision. A SHIP is a specialist provision within a mainstream school that enables children with a range of special educational needs and/or disabilities to have access to individualised and small group support whilst also benefiting from inclusive practice within the mainstream setting. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team setting up a new provision for SEND children. We have a fantastic new purpose-built SHIP building and we are excited that it will be ready to use in the summer term.
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with children with special needs A positive and warm manner A child-centered approach A passion for helping children of all abilities to reach their full potential Experience of working with a range of primary aged children, including early years and KS1 An understanding of how to support children with a range of individual needs and barriers to learning.
