• Lead shift operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient data center performance, including after-hours support • Monitor and manage critical electrical infrastructure such as UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems to maintain maximum availability and resilience • Lead incident response and escalation management, coordinating cross-functional teams to minimize operational impact and restore services quickly • Ensure compliance and coordinate maintenance activities, including safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, testing, and commissioning • Manage stakeholder communication during operational events, maintenance activities, and service-impacting issues • Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring, risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in electrical operations, critical facilities, or mission-critical environments, ideally within data centers or similar high-availability sites • Strong knowledge of critical electrical systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution infrastructure • Proven ability to lead incident response, escalation management, and operational coordination in high-pressure environments • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide shift activities, coordinate vendors and contractors, and support safe, reliable electrical operations • Familiar with maintenance planning, safety compliance, permit-to-work processes, testing, and commissioning activities • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a process-driven approach to uptime, risk management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
